About the role

Job title: Multimedia Designer


Location: This is a predominantly home-based role, but you will be required to travel to our Reading head office once a week at your own expense. There may also be occasional travel required to other locations, which will be paid for. 
  
We are looking for a Multimedia Designer to join our Brand and Marketing team. As a respected, growing international brand, we are looking for an experienced and talented Multimedia Designer with strong strategic thinking, who can develop high quality creative solutions that communicate our expertise, services, goals and impact to diverse audiences, which include governments, donor agencies and the wider education sector. 

The post holder will be a creative individual, with a diverse skill set that includes graphic design, animation, video editing and user experience (UX) design. Alongside marketing colleagues, you will produce content that aligns with our strategy and is integrated into campaigns to drive engagement and brand awareness.

Your work will directly support front line colleagues and senior stakeholders to demonstrate the intellectual expertise, programme management experience and impact that the organisation offers our UK-based and international clients.  With support from marketing colleagues, you will have an ability to turn complex concepts and processes into creative and engaging multimedia content for various platforms and marketing materials, in keeping with our visual brand language, organisational values and key messages.
   
The successful post-holder will: 

- Have extensive experience designing for an agency or in-house function.
- Have the ability to understand and interpret process models, intellectual concepts and turn them in to accessible, illuminating creative solutions.
- Have designed a range of branded materials which accurately and attractively interpret brand strategy.
- Be able to develop creative ideas and design solutions for a wide range of organisational outputs including web pages, social channels, advanced PowerPoint presentations, reports, events collateral, video content, animation, gifs etc.
- Have a good working knowledge of the B2B/B2G marketing discipline, especially the role of brand in supporting organisational growth.
- Be able to demonstrate cultural sensitivity in the execution of their work in both colleagues liaison and design.
- Be able to challenge diplomatically, and arrive at a consensus.
