Full-time Fixed Term Contract as a Lower Key Stage Two Teacher (teaching mainly English)

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspirational Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher to join St. Andrew's School from January 2026, to cover maternity leave. This is a full-time position, fixed term contract, likely to be until October half-term 2026.

The role will be mainly teaching English across two classes in the same year group but will also include a small amount of teaching in other subject areas.

About the organisation

St Andrew's in Rochester, Kent, is a co-educational non-selective school for children from 3 to 11. It was founded in 1951 with clear and simple aims: to offer an affordable education with the emphasis on the ‘three Rs’ – reading, writing and arithmetic – and to promote traditional values.
 
Under the proprietorship of edt, which acquired the school in 1999, St. Andrew’s has flourished and has held dear its values – even though society may have changed around it.
