About the Project:
EDT is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a high-impact Education project in Saudi Arabia, addressing key themes such as Inspection Framework Development, Strategy and Policy Development, Operating Model Development, and Training Plan Development. The project aims to build a comprehensive and sustainable system, including diagnostic assessments, strategic planning, and implementation of key frameworks. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating a diverse, bilingual technical team, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, with the flexibility to adapt processes as needed to meet specific business requirements.
  • Mobilization Support: Support the mobilisation activities, working closely with the team to ensure all aspects of mobilisation are covered to meet quality, legislative, and compliance standards.
  • Strategic Oversight: Maintain a strategic overview of the project, reviewing, monitoring, and reporting on progress, ensuring that milestones are achieved on time and within scope.
  • Financial Management: Work with relevant colleagues to ensure financial procedures and budgets are in place, and track reporting requirements to meet financial goals.
  • Process Management: Establish and maintain project management, administrative, and quality assurance processes to ensure the project runs efficiently and meets internal and external requirements.
  • Supplier & Partner Coordination: Work closely with suppliers and partners to ensure that deliverables meet business objectives, contractual requirements, and quality standards within agreed timelines.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify and manage risks and issues, taking appropriate action to resolve them and ensuring project success.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership to internal and external project teams, ensuring that deliverables meet cost and time specifications and that team members are supported in their professional development.
  • Reporting & Communication: Produce and deliver progress reports to senior management and clients, tracking achievement against milestones, risks, and resource needs.
  • Business Development: Required to support the business development activities in KSA. 

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in the education sector or policy-level consulting.
  • Strong background within the education sector, including early childhood education), with knowledge of policy, governance, workforce development, and quality assurance systems.
  • Experience in managing complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders, including international teams and external partners.
  • Financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and ensuring financial compliance with project requirements.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic required.
