About the role
We are looking for a Year 6 Class Teacher with specialist ability to teach Maths in Key Stage 2. The opportunity to take on the Maths subject leader role could become available for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate. This is a full-time role from 1st January 2021.
 
Oakfield Preparatory School, West Dulwich, London SE21 8HP is an Education Development Trust co-educational school for children aged 2-11 years.

We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS/PGCE) with strength and specialism in Maths – with experience of working with Year 6 pupils and their families, who will inspire a love of learning and display a genuine passion for the delivery of excellence here at Oakfield. We need a team player who is willing to contribute to the organisation and delivery of the co-curricular life of the school, including our bespoke Year 6 diploma programme which takes place in the Spring and Summer terms. Our children begin the 11+ journey early and we are proud of the support we give to them and their parents as they prepare for entry into their secondary schools. The role calls for dynamism and energy and a real desire to treat our children as individuals, thus encouraging our children to be the best that they can be.

Interview process: Our typical selection process is to invite shortlisted applicants into the school to interview and deliver a short lesson. However, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, we are considering virtual interview options.
