About the role

Are you Level 2 qualified and would like to work towards Level 3 ?  or already hold a level 3 qualification? If so, you may be the person we are looking for.


Danesfield Manor School are looking to recruit a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to be a key person within our Early Years Team catering for children between 2 to 4 year olds


Candidates will have experience of working with children as well as the ability to take initiative and work as part of a team. You will be expected to have a sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum, as well as of safeguarding issues.


We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.


Candidates will need to demonstrate sensitivity to the developmental needs of very young children. The successful candidate will be prepared to get involved in the life of the school by helping to supervise children up to the age of 11 in our after school club, as well as in our extra-curricular clubs. 


The post is offered as a permanent contract, and is full time working between 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday. There is an hour for lunch, in addition to a ten minute break allowed during the day.
