About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a MI Systems Developer to join our Education Development Trust Careers team on a permanent basis.

As Senior MI Systems Developer you will design, integrate, implement and maintain a range of effective and accurate management information solutions for contracts and programmes operated by Education Development Trust (Careers) and the wider Trust.

You will consult with Senior Managers across the business to capture and clarify business MI requirements on an ongoing basis; Provide technical expertise and recommendations for new IT solutions for data and MI platforms across Education Development Trust that deliver functional and technical improvements

The ideal candidate will have experience with delivering coaching and/or mentoring to individuals and groups and programming and developing solutions. Working knowledge of the following requirements is essential:  

  • C# ASP.NET
  • MVC5
  • Microsoft Azure Platform
  • Writing complex SQL queries
  • Design and administrate SQL Service database.
  • Front End: HTML, JavaScript, CSS
  • Web API
  • Power BI (Microsoft business analytics)

There will be some travel between office locations and therefore a full driving licence and access to own vehicle will be desirable.

This role is 37 hours a week Monday to Friday office hours (no shift work)
