About the role

Are you looking for a new challenge?  Are you a qualified Careers adviser Level 4 and upwards? If so then a fantastic career opportunity has arisen for individuals to join our successful and rapidly expanding Education Development Trust careers team.

Our careers advisers are expected to work flexibly and independently but will be supported as part of the wider team. Applicants must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with adults on an individual and group basis and be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with other professionals, stakeholders and partners.

You will:

  • be organised and methodical
  • have excellent administration and IT skills
  • understand the career information, advice & guidance needs of adults
  • have knowledge of the local labour market and issues relating to learning and employment.
  • have demonstratable experience in the use of social media platforms
  • have a collaborative approach and be able to demonstrate building and maintaining effective internal and/or external relationships
  • Have access to your own vehicle as locations are spread across Hampshire
