HR Business Partner

We are looking to recruit a HR Business Partner with significant generalist knowledge and experience to support our established HR team in our Reading town centre office. This role requires generalist HR input at a Business Partner level, where there will be a need to respond flexibly to changing business demands.  The role holder will also be responsible for championing, driving and embedding the HR agenda within our three UK independent schools, by leading on the development and implementation of appropriate people management solutions to support long term growth and transformation.

    We are keen to hear from candidates with experience of working within school environments and supporting change; experience of safeguarding best practice, developing and updating policies and procedures, and project management principles.  The successful candidate will need to be proactive, professional and self-motivated in order to deliver an excellent HR service to the schools and other business units, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels within both Education Development Trust and externally. In addition, the role holder will be experienced in using HR systems, extracting management information and translating data into meaningful outputs.

    This role is a permanent position based at Education Development Trust’s Reading offices, with flexibility around working pattern. The role will involve regular travel to the UK Independent Schools in Dulwich, Kent and Walton-on-Thames as well as time at our UK head office in Reading.
