Education Development Trust's clients in the UAE are seeking skilled inspectors with diverse backgrounds to join their dynamic team of inspection experts on a contractual consultancy basis.

Our highly experienced and committed Inspection resourcing team has many years of experience and have combined expertise of Global HR, resourcing, and school governance and will be available to you, throughout the whole process.

What You'll Do:

  • Evaluate education provision in various settings, in all phases from Early Years to Secondary schools.
  • Assess multiple subject specialisms and cross-cutting areas such as Maths, EY, Science, English, Arabic & Islamic education, and inclusive provision for students with special educational needs.
  • Provide reliable, consistent judgments regarding the impact of teaching on student learning and attainment against curricular standards.


We are Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has experience as an inspector or reviewer within the last 5 years.
  • Has expertise in any phase or level, from KG to Post 16+.
  • Is fluent in English, with knowledge of other languages such as Arabic as a plus.
  • Is willing to travel and provide a minimum of 2-3 consecutive weeks of availability during the tranches of inspections.

Desirable Skills:

  • Specialism in core subjects like English, Maths, Science, or Arabic.
  • Inclusion, Wellbeing and/or Pastoral care experience.
  • Has worked in the UAE or MENA region previously.
  • Experience in educational leadership or teaching.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and flexibility.

Scope and Working Arrangements:

Inspectors are recruited on a consultancy basis by our dedicated Inspector resourcing team and supported throughout the assignment by Education Development Trust inspector and operations teams. Training and/or assessment may take place in-country before deployment.
