To be held in the Exeter area

We are inviting all L4 Qualified Careers Advisers, plus people who want to develop their skills and become a qualified Careers Adviser to join us on an assessment day.

Areas of work:
  • North Devon
  • South Devon
  • Cornwall
  • Somerset
  • Dorset

This is a fantastic opportunity for Careers Advisers who are Level 4 Qualified or people who want to develop their skills and become a Qualified Careers Adviser, to join our Education Development Trust careers team.

Ideally you will hold a L4 in Advice & Guidance or be prepared to work towards this qualification where you will be supported by permitted study leave. You will join a team of enthusiastic professional Careers Advisers who will train you and help you work towards a qualification in Advice & Guidance.

We welcome applications from people who have L4 qualification or who have the following who want to develop their skills and become a qualified Careers Adviser:

  • A keen interest in finding a new challenge which is fulfilling, and person centred
  • A professional, friendly, and proactive person
  • An open minded and non-judgemental person, who would like an opportunity to help people see a positive way forward with their lives
  • An approachable and articulate person who feels they can bring the best out of people
  • A-Level qualifications
  • Excellent administrative and computer skills
  • An organised and methodical person who would welcome the opportunity to study an NVQ level 4 in Advice and Guidance
