Location:  Homebased but occasional travel might be required (England)

Salary:   £33,232 per annum ( £17.22 per hour)

Job type: Casual/as and when required

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Careers Consultants to work on our national Quality in Careers Standard Ed Dev trust is an awarding body for the national Quality in Careers Standard.

We are looking for Careers Consultants to join our pool and work to provide support schools who are undertaking the Quality in Careers Standard with Ed Dev Trust.

The role will include:

  • Delivering bespoke careers consultancy and training to individual Learning Providers including delivering teacher CPD sessions
  • Providing expertise in delivering the Quality in Careers standard to learning Providers
  • Supporting the school to implement and achieve the Gatsby benchmarks and embed careers throughout the curriculum including where appropriate working towards the Quality in Careers Standard
  • Liaison with stakeholders including Higher Education institutions and employers to implement a joined up offer across the cluster     

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • L6 careerguidance qualification or above
  • In-deptknowledge of schools/college curriculum, Gatsby Benchmarks and statutory guidance requirements
  • Detailed knowledgorelevant developmentiCEIAG and abilittapplin a wider context
  • Experience of delivering CEIAG and/or CEIAG consultancy in a school/college setting     

  • Our Careers Consultants are expected to work flexibly and independently but will be supported as part of the wider team.  Applicants must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
