About the role
Due to recent contract wins we have an exciting opportunity for a NCS Contract Manager to join our Careers and Employability Senior Management Team.
 

Job title: NCS Contract Manager (Careers & Employability)

Location: North East / Yorkshire & Humber (can be based out of Gateshead or Sheffield office)

The Contract Manager will play a key role in leading and defining the strategic direction of significant value contracts in the North of England.  This is a senior role, with significant accountabilities and responsibilities for the achievement of contract objectives. The post holder will be expected to apply our careers resources and infrastructure to maximise opportunities for beneficiaries, ensuring the right strategic approach to address barriers to employment through innovative solutions.

The Contract Manager will be a key part of our North of England regional management group, helping to shape and develop our regional careers and employability strategy while also being part of the directorates Senior Management Team.  The post-holder will be required to travel to meetings with clients and partners which could include overnight stays.

If you are an experienced leader who excels at managing experienced managers, comfortable managing large budgets, believes in exceeding client and beneficiaries needs and you are committed to quality and changing lives then we would be keen to hear from you.  Ideally you will have expertise in the careers or employability sector however we are also keen to hear from excellent candidates in other relevant programme delivery sectors.
